Now we return you to our regular programming...

Do you:

Want to keep in touch with

 current or past TFC Members?

Want to find out what the hell

 ever happened to Whatshisface?

Need bail money?

You've come  to the right place! (Except for the bail money thing, we were just kidding.)

This is the official website of the Trail Crew Association.  The Association was formed in 1999 for a bunch of reasons, but mostly to make sure of two things:

1. Chips and Clippings gets published and sent out to every current and past AMC Trail Crew member, past or present, who has a pulse.

2. Make sure Shelburne cabin is maintained and protected.

Shelburne cabinWe also hold a reunion every year in the Boston area and two work weekends at Shelburne every summer.

As well as being a great way to catch up with former colleagues, it is also an excellent method of collecting on old debts.

ill titleYou Make It Happen!

As you can see by clicking on most of the links above, this website is a work in progress, as is just about everything else.   AMC Trail Crew Patrolling 1952

There's a lot of ways you can pitch in. We're looking for pictures, stories and memorabilia from past years.

No, we DO NOT want those godawful stinky Limmers that have been sitting in the garage for 15 years, even if you did use them to  do a Mahoosuc Traverse wearing nothing but your socks and a tattoo declaring your everlasting love for the Pointer Sisters.

What we DO WANT is the TRUE STORY about how...well you know. Don't worry, the statute of limitations will probably protect you. And the editor of Chips and Clippings will thank you from the bottom of his heart.

We also need people to help with the ongoing maintenance at Shelburne cabin.

But most of all, we  need people to join the TCA, communicate, come to the alumni reunions and the work weekends at Shelburne.

ill titleHere's What You Get:

ill_1 A chance to hang out again with some of the best friends you've ever had in your life. Don't kid yourself, even your wife or husband doesn't know the stuff about you that your TFC peers know.

What more could you ask for? At $35/year, it's a steal.

Email to: wtf@amctrailcrew.org if you want more information or have a question. Thanks. Foo.
